Ipoh is a city in peninsular Malaysia, and is most popular with “local” tourists from other parts of Malaysia. It is only just beginning to become popular with foreign tourists, so if you want an authentic experience in a beautiful city with great architecture, delicious food and welcoming people, you’d better hurry before it becomes a hot tourist destination.
